The most important part of our education is you,

THE CUSTOMER

Without you, we can never fully gain the experience needed for us to have a successful career. You help us to become salon professinals, not just someone that can cut hair. For that, we thank you greatly. Our goal is to please every client that enters our academy. We are students learning a new career. If we take a little longer than normal or don't get your desire quite right the first time, we hope you understand we are here to learn and we will make it right. We strive to make you 100% satisfied with your service and always look for ways to improve. If you see something you think would help us to achieve the satisfaction you deserve, let us know. We love learning how to be the best.

Thank you from all of us.

The majority of the students graduating locate employment due to their education received at the Academy.

  • First, you can expect an income at entry level around $10-$15 per hour and with more experience you can expect to earn $15-$20 per hour (these are only estimates, the sky is the limit depending on your level of skill and which path you choose).

  • Second, you can apply for jobs in thousands of salons or barber shops state wide.  Other interests would be Salon Owners, Managers, Product Representatives, Platform Artists, School Instructor, Celebrity Stylist, or maybe a Cruise Ship Stylist.

Tuition Payment Options

Financing the training for your new career is made easy with Shear Academy!

Financial Aid Assistance is available to those students who qualify. Shear Academy offers many options for payment inclusing the below link to apply for financial aid! Submitting a FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for applying for federal student aid for college or trade school. Please visit the FAFSA website and apply online using the FAFSA online form at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Financial aid offices use information from the FAFSA to determine if you are eligible to receive federal student aid from grants, loans and work study programs. So be sure to fill out a FAFSA even if you think you won't qualify, since you may be eligable for any of the preceeding!
